Hi there!

Well, I guess I will start from the very beginning, with a big heart felt Hi and thank you for visiting my website! I cannot believe that after A LOT of deliberating, to-ing and fro-ing I’ve finally taken the plunge and can say, I now have my very own photography business!

If you’d asked me even 5 years ago, I would not have thought this would be where I’d be right now. My route in to photography probably isn’t what people typically expect, but at the same time, I feel surprised that I didn’t discover this path sooner!

I’ve always been a creative person, but unable to express it. All these big ideas buzzing around my brain, but as a kid I very quickly learnt from my art teachers that if you couldn’t draw or paint (much to my Dad’s frustration, haha!), then maybe you weren’t creative after all.

As time passed, I always had a camera. Always the photo taker. First with a wind on film camera, then a digital point and shoot- you weren’t a student in the late 2000’s if you didn’t have a camera on a night out in a grubby nightclub! But unlike my friends, I used my point and shoot to capture more than nights out. I’d take photos of my travels, my friends and the world around me. Saying this, I didn’t ever really realise my potential until after I had my children. I loved taking pictures of them and freezing the moments, intent to remember all the little things, but also intent to take better quality photographs.

And here I am now; 6 years after the birth of my daughter, ready to reclaim that young girl. The one with all the big ideas. The one with all the creativity, but nowhere to put it. The one who loves meeting new people and finding out all about them. The photo taker.
