Brand Shoots-are they worth it?

And in short, the answer depends on a a few different things…

In the current financial climate, each and every decision we make, for ourselves, our families and our businesses, needs to make financial sense, and that’s completely right! And I guess for anything we are buying, we need to ask ourselves a couple of questions:

  • Will this investment help to move my business forwrds towards my goals?

  • Do I think it will make a difference to how my audience see my business or am I just doing it because everyone else is?

  • Is it right for me?

And these are the same questions you should ask yourself, when considering a brand shoot too. So here are a few reasons why having a brand shoot might be a solid investment for the future of your business.

It builds the Know, Like & Trust Factor

Put simply, your brand photos will help your audience put a face to the business and when they are professional photographs, they will also show that you take your business seriously. Now don’t get me wrong, a selfie has it’s place, but if we want others to take our brand seriously, we should take it seriously too.

When we add our favourite outfit, our favourite location or even our pets in to these shoots, brand shoots also have the ability to give our audience an insight in to who we are and our personality too.

It makes you more visible & you can use the images everywhere!

When you are more visible online and more present to your ideal clients, this will hopefully mean that they buy in to you as part of your business. People buy from people.

Not only that, but by having a bank of branding images from your shoot, you will have a tonne of content which you can recycle and reuse. Don’t think you can only post each image once! It’ll be a major confidence boost

This is probably the most important one for me. I love watching clients go from feeling nervous and unsure, to absolutely owning their shoots! Seeing clients who now have the confidence to show up and be apologetically themselves. The hard working, passionate, wonderfully amazing business owners that they are. And when that’s how you feel about yourself, that’s how your clients will see you too!
